As an approved Department of Defense packaging organization, Airpack maintains an extensive Mil-Spec library that is current with all military specification packaging requirements (MIL-STD-129, MIL-STD-130 & MIL-STD-2073, just to name a few). Airpack has been working with QARs (Quality Assurance Representatives) of the DCMA (Defense Contract Management Agency) for over 23 years. You won’t need a government QAR because we have one assigned to us.
We provide the service of packaging your product(s) according to military specification (Mil-Spec) standards. We will even ship the product to its final destination as part of our turnkey solutions.
Our mil-spec packaging services meet MIL-STD–129 (2D-Two Dimensional), RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) bar code performance requirements. From spare parts to complete weapons systems, and military hazmats (hazardous materials), Airpack interprets Mil-Spec terminology and special packing instructions (SPI’s).
As active members of NIPHLE (National Institute of Packaging, Handling, and Logistics Engineers) Airpack is kept current with the changing DLA (Defense Logistics Agency) worldwide performance requirements.
We provide comprehensive solicitation and contract interpretation for Military and DoD items. In addition, we provide support and consultation for manufacturers new to contract packaging. We will review the contract packaging requirements providing you with cost-effective solutions to maintaining compliance.
Airpack is a final inspection and acceptance site for contractors nationwide. We are also wide area work flow (WAWF) compliant and have alternative release status with DCMA.
